Ideal candidate is flexible & innovative with strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and organization skills. Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians and vendors. Current license to practice professional nursing as a RN or LPN in the state of MN. Requires competent nursing assessment, planning, and evaluation skills. This position will oversee and supervise nursing assistants. Requires good communication, oral and written skills. Must possess ability to plan and perform work independently without direct supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective nurse/resident relationships. Full Time position available on the overnight shift.
RNA-Registered Nursing Assistant
Provide resident care as required under the CNA regulations. Will assist the resident with activities of daily living, complete assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe resident care. Communication and interactions with residents, families and co-workers is an essential component of this position. Must be hard working, dependable and honest. Must have the desire to work and care for the elderly. Experience preferred but not required. Will train the right person. Available positions include afternoon and overnight shift. Full time positions available on the overnight shift; part time positions available on the afternoon shifts.
Oversees the maintenance and safety of the building. Does minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical and heating/refrigeration work. Maintains/repairs mechanical equipment. Conducts regular safety inspections and fire drills. Must be hardworking, dependable and honest. Must be organized. Must possess good time management skills and ability to work independently. Prefer several years of working experience in building and grounds maintenance. Boilers license preferred. Must be knowledgeable of local codes/ordinances and safety regulations.
