We have been informed that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19 on 10/26/2020. The staff person did not have direct contact with the residents, so no exposure to the resident. The staff person had minimal exposure to some staff, essential caregivers and compassionate caregivers. Those that had contact with this individual have been informed of the exposure. The staff person is in quarantine at home.
We are working in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Health to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps. In addition, we are following all recommended guidance from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention to protect our residents and staff from this virus and will continue to take every action possible to prevent it from spreading in our setting.
