We surprised our administrator Candas on her 20 year work Anniversary!!! We shared a top 20 list of fun memories, accomplishments, and some of the larger moments and events that have happened in her career at Oak Hills! Some of those include starting culture change and Person first care, several remodels and expansions, winning Business of the Year, her advocacy at the capitol and with our legislators, her service on the Leading Age boards, when the MN Twins Caravan came to Oak Hills, etc. Congratulations Candas! Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and forward thinking! Your commitment to Oak Hills Living Center, our Assisted Living, Oak View apartments, home care, Gutes Essen Deli and Catering, the Oaks at Garden Terrace, the long term care industry overall, and seniors is exceptional. Your continued passion to fight for what is best - not only for the people that we care for, but also for all of the workers who care for them everyday inspires us. In August we were able to recognize our Business Office team! This team consistently goes above and beyond to keep everything functioning especially in the financial world, including insurance, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, donations, etc. They are the masters of numbers, nursing staffing hours, front desk operations, and truly anything that is asked of them too! Their dedication to keeping Oak Hills running smoothly with so many behind the scene functions is extraordinaire. Thank you for all you do!!! We appreciate you! #oakhillsfamily #makingadifference
We have been busy baking! Peach cobbler and banana bread! Many life lessons and friendships can be formed through baking! Not to mention great memories made and delicious treats to eat!
