Hospice

Hospice services are provided to anyone whose life expectancy is likely to be six months. In response to the need for Hospice in the community Oak Hills has set aside rooms to provide this service. Quality of life is the main focus of Hospice Care. Staff will work closely with the hospice team the family already has, welcoming them into their living environment or Oak Hills will assign a team. Together, the Hospice team and the staff at Oak Hills will provide medications, equipment and supplies to support the hospice diagnosis, as well as compassionate staff to attend to personal care needs. It is important for hospice patients and their loved ones to be able to stay close to family and friends during end of life so they can maximize and savor their remaining time together.
