RNA-Registered Nursing Assistant
Provide resident care as required under the CNA regulations. Will assist the resident with activities of daily living, complete assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe resident care. Communication and interactions with residents, families and co-workers is an essential component of this position. Must be hard working, dependable and honest. Must have the desire to work and care for the elderly. Experience preferred but not required. Will train the right person. Available positions include afternoon and overnight shift. Full time and part time positions available on the day, afternoon and overnight shift.
Ideal candidate is flexible & innovative with strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and organization skills. Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians and vendors. Current license to practice professional nursing as a RN or LPN in the state of MN. Requires competent nursing assessment, planning, and evaluation skills. This position will oversee and supervise nursing assistants. Requires good communication, oral and written skills. Must possess ability to plan and perform work independently without direct supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective nurse/resident relationships. Full Time position available on the afternoon and overnight shifts.
The dietary aide provides a variety of dietary services. Duties include food preparation, meal serving and clean up. Full time position available on the day shift.
The housekeeper ensures a clean living environment for Residents. Duties include cleaning in the resident rooms and public areas. Part time position available on the day shift.
This position responsible for working in our deli as well as food preparation for catering events. Part time day shift position available (9-5:30). Every other weekend required.
Recreational Therapy Aide
The Recreational Therapy Aide assists with planning and completing activity programs for their neighborhood as well as the facility. The Recreational Therapy tasks are performed in accordance with Oak Hills policies and procedures, state and federal regulations and in a safe and efficient manner.
Primary duties include: Leads, implements and evaluates the Recreational Therapy Programs. Completes one to one programs as care planned and as needed. Completes sensory, small and large group programs. Assists residents to and from activities. Follow individual care plans. Completes activity assessments. Works to provide the best approach for residents with a variety of cognitive and physical abilities. Provides guidance and support to volunteers. Organizes and maintains all equipment used. Accurately documents care provided.
