RNA-Registered Nursing Assistant
Provide resident care as required under the CNA regulations. Will assist the resident with activities of daily living, complete assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe resident care. Communication and interactions with residents, families and co-workers is an essential component of this position. Must be hard working, dependable and honest. Must have the desire to work and care for the elderly. Experience preferred but not required. Will train the right person. Available positions include afternoon and overnight shift. Full time and part time positions available on the afternoon and overnight shift.
This position will be trained throughout the campus; Assisted Living, Home Care and Long Term Care. It will primarily be scheduled in Home Care but will assist in other departments as needed. Ensures that the health and safety of all residents are met thru assessments of the residents, development and implementation of appropriate care plans, supervision of staff. Completes admissions and assessments and communicates to family and physicians. Must be flexible with scheduling and maintain a positive attitude. This position will generally work day hours Monday-Friday but will take part in an on-call rotation. Must meet regulatory requirements for licensure as a RN in state of Minnesota. Experience with Medicare regulations and documentation preferred.
Current license to practice professional nursing as a RN or LPN in the state of MN. Requires competent nursing assessment, planning, and evaluation skills. This position will oversee and supervise nursing assistants. Requires good communication, oral and written skills. Must possess ability to plan and perform work independently without direct supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective nurse/resident relationships. Full time position available on the day/afternoon shift. Must be hardworking, dependable and honest. Must have a desire to work with the elderly in a long term care setting.
Human Resource Assistant
This position will interview and hire new employees, establish training plan for new employees and organize and direct scheduling for the nursing department to meet the needs of the residents. This position will also assist the Human Resource Director with other personnel activities. The right candidate must demonstrate leadership abilities to exhibit the ability to prioritize responsibilities; be flexible and able to work under stressful situations; possess good verbal and written communication skills; be self-directed and be highly organized to work in a fast pace environment. Experience with scheduling preferred.
