RNA-Registered Nursing Assistant
Provide resident care as required under the CNA regulations. Will assist the resident with activities of daily living, complete assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe resident care. Communication and interactions with residents, families and co-workers is an essential component of this position. Must be hard working, dependable and honest. Must have the desire to work and care for the elderly. Experience preferred but not required. Will train the right person. Available positions include afternoon and overnight shift. Full time and part time positions available on the afternoon and overnight shift.
Ideal candidate is flexible & innovative with strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and organization skills. Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians and vendors. Current license to practice professional nursing as a RN or LPN in the state of MN. Requires competent nursing assessment, planning, and evaluation skills. This position will oversee and supervise nursing assistants. Requires good communication, oral and written skills. Must possess ability to plan and perform work independently without direct supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective nurse/resident relationships. Full Time position available on the overnight shifts.
RN Case Manager Rehab Unit
The Case Manager provides clinical leadership to residents. The Case Manager directs the clinical operations of residents to ensure regulatory compliance, nurture a person-centered and resident directed culture. The Case Manager provides each resident with professional licensed nursing assessments and evaluations and coordinates their care with other nursing staff. Responsible for infection control, safety, wound management, falls, MDS/CAA process, etc.
Must meet regulatory requirements for licensure as registered nurse in state of Minnesota. Experience in geriatric nursing is desirable. Three to five years on the job experience as nurse in skilled health care facility is preferred. Must have demonstrated mentorship qualities, supervisory skills, interpersonal relationship skills, and knowledge of federal and state regulations governing clinical care, and nursing practice. Commitment to person centered and resident directed care is essential.
