This position is responsible for the overseeing of the day-to-day operations of the Gutes Essen Deli.  This worker shall also be part of the Oak Hills/Gutes Essen catering team and help where needed within the organization.   .

Key Responsibilities

• Gutes Essen Deli menus will be planned and posted on a weekly basis.  This worker will prepare the weekly special as instructed, stock the deli case, and clean as instructed.  Meals are served with appropriate serving sizes and while using sanitary practices. 
• Must show competence with day to day deli processes, including cash register transactions, labeling/dating, and safe food storage and handling policies. 
• Responsible for closing out till and reconciling receipts to ensure accurate financial transactions.   
• Responsible for cleaning the deli area daily and as needed. 
• Part of the catering and dietary team of Oak Hills/Gutes Essen.  Will assist in catering prep as needed. 

Qualifications

• Will excel in customer service and greet customers in a polite manner. 
• Trained in food Safety and sanitation with continuing education as required/requested. 
• This individual must be organized with time management skills.  Team work and a positive attitude are necessary.   
• This position requires some lifting, standing for long periods of time, and exposure to heat and cold.
