CNA NURSING INSTRUCTOR (LPN or RN): 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
CNA Nursing Instructor will have a passion for teaching and will serve as the mentor for staff. This position is part time and allows for a flexible schedule.  The instructor will have the ability to set their own hours, typically working approximately 5-7 days per month.  The responsibilities would be:

  • Teach On Track, the online nursing assistant program.
  • Plan and implement and oversee the Skill and Clinical experiences of nursing assistant students
  • Schedule and register nursing assistant students for the state tests
  • Provide one on one support to students to help prepare for state tests

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must meet regulatory requirements for licensure as either an LPN or RN in the state of MN
  • Two years experience as a nurse is required
  • One year experience as a nurse in a Long Term Care setting is required

 

 

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: 

Oak Hills Living Center is seeking a dedicated and organized individual for the position of an Administrative Assistant.  This role involves proving essential administrative support to multiple positions and assisting with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare program materials
  • Assist with transcribing documents and maintaining records
  • Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and answering phones
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
  • Assist in project coordination and follow-up on action items
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Receptionist support
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per from 9:30am-6pm, Monday thru Friday.  The ideal candidate will have:

  • Two (2) years experience in a management-support related position or two year associate degree in a secretarial or related field and two-year management-support related experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer operations skills and sound working knowledge of basic office software products for word processing, graphic presentations, spreadsheet production and/or database operations.
  • Demonstrates initiative/motivation, critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility in handling changes in work priorities and handles multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

 

FUND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR: 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: 

The Fund Development Director will be responsible for three main areas of philanthropy.  This full-time position will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of Oak Hills by leading fundraising efforts, implementing marketing strategies and writing successful grants.

Fundraising Development:

  • Develop and execute compressive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations and foundations.
  • Promote the organization mission and vision for current, short term and long-term goals to recruit new donors and volunteers.
  • Build relationships with donors to maximize donor retention.
  • Reactivate past donors and explain the value of their contributions to the mission and vision.
  • Implement and maintain an online database of past, current and prospective donors.
  • Develop and annual giving campaign for donors including auto-renewals of donations.

Marketing:

  • Use all digital marketing tools including website, social media, text messages and email marketing to reach donors, prospects and volunteers.
  • Develop annual marketing plan for ongoing fundraising.
  • Develop marketing plans for any special projects, including but not limited to capital campaign.

Grant Writing

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with the Oak Hills mission.
  • Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines and reporting requirements.
