Fund Development Director: 

The Fund Development Director will be responsible for three main areas of philanthropy.  This full-time position will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of Oak Hills by leading fundraising efforts, implementing marketing strategies and writing successful grants.

Fundraising Development:

  • Develop and execute compressive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations and foundations.
  • Promote the organization mission and vision for current, short term and long-term goals to recruit new donors and volunteers.
  • Build relationships with donors to maximize donor retention.
  • Reactivate past donors and explain the value of their contributions to the mission and vision.
  • Implement and maintain an online database of past, current and prospective donors.
  • Develop and annual giving campaign for donors including auto-renewals of donations.

Marketing:

  • Use all digital marketing tools including website, social media, text messages and email marketing to reach donors, prospects and volunteers.
  • Develop annual marketing plan for ongoing fundraising.
  • Develop marketing plans for any special projects, including but not limited to capital campaign.

Grant Writing

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with the Oak Hills mission.
  • Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines and reporting requirements.

Summer Health Care Internship: 

This program will provide students experience in a health care environment.  Students will work in a variety of departments such as:  nutrition, activities, social services, and nursing.  This is a PAID opportunity to discover more about health care.  Eligible students must have completed their junior or senior year of high school.  Postsecondary students must be enrolled in a MN education intuition or be a resident of Minnesota and enrolled in a two- or four-year health care degree program.  Postsecondary students graduating at any time in 2024 are not eligible.
