October Fun

The walking path around the facility was finished a few weeks ago.  We are thankful we have been able to enjoy it before the cold weather comes.  The Oak Hills Memorial Foundation donated the funds for the project.  We will be making scarecrows that will be placed in our courtyard.  They will be up starting on the 12th and we will be judging them on the 23rd.  Adult day is also in on the scarecrow contest.  John Fritsche will be leading the men’s group that will take place on Weds, Oct 17th.  On Halloween we will be having a costume contest for staff and residents, as well as a mummy wrap contest.  We welcome trick or treaters to come from 3:15-5:00 in the chapel area.  Residents will be there heading out candy.  If trick or treaters come before or after those times there will be candy on each household.  Have a wonderful fall and enjoy the pumpkin spice while it lasts.
