I know that for some this can be a very difficult time of the year. I would like to explain why I think it is the most wonderful time of the year. The environment changes here. We have carolers singing in our households, we have homemade cards being brought in from school classes, daycare, and confirmation classes, the girl scouts trim our Christmas tree, entertainers come with special Christmas music prepared, we take bus trips to look at the Christmas lights in town, there are special foods and treats on a regular basis, and the list goes on. Our community friends make sure we are remembered and not only remembered but that we feel special during this holiday season. You can’t help but be in a good mood when you see the outpouring of love and support. I would like to thank everyone who has gone above and beyond to make this time of year special for our residents. You are giving a gift that you can’t find in a store, your time, talents, creativity, and your thoughtfulness. May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
