School, harvest, and other fall events

We have gotten to experience some wonderful food programs lately from award winning homemade sauerkraut to fresh sweet corn to an old fashioned lemonade stand we have kept our taste buds busy.  We will continue in September with a few more food type programs: 17th Naomi Pfeiffer from Lyons Creek Gardens will be here with her fresh produce, 19th Denny Warta will be talking about prohibition and we will be serving 1919 root beer, and on the 20th we will be dining in with Happy Joe’s.   We also welcome back our partnerships with some of the schools.  We have preschool and kindergartners coming to visit monthly, as well as intern students from a few of the high schools.  We cherish our entertainers that come monthly and share their gift of music with us.  We are looking forward to going on some fall leaf tours as the leaves begin to change colors.

We were recently received ‘The readers choice award – for best skilled nursing facility’ from the New Ulm Journal.  We are honored to be recognized for this award.
