We wanted to thank Oak Hills Living Center for all they did for our Father, Elmer Rosin. He spent the past four years of his life in the Rehab unit, Assisted Living, and the Nursing Home. He passed away on March 13th, 2020 at the age of 97.
He was always treated very well with cares, activities, and kindness and the love felt from the workers and all the staff. Elmer would say, ‘How the workers all know me and they call me by my name. That is so nice!’ The activities that he would not miss and truly enjoyed were old time music, his church services, going out on the pontoon fishing at Sleepy Eye Lake, and all the bingo games. It was especially nice to have a worker by his side during bingo games, as he couldn’t hear very well. The many numerous activities kept him busy.
All we can say is that in our Fathers’ last years, he was fulfilled and loved by all the attention that you gave him. We would also like to recognize the staff that were with him the last week of his life. There was so much empathy shown for him and our families.
Thank you to everyone at Oak Hills Living Center
