The Executive Team at Oak Hills has been participating in the Performance Excellence in Aging Services, based on the Baldridge Framework. The Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence are accepted around the world as the gold standard for organizational performance excellence—a body of principles and considerations that when used as a management framework lead to improved performance results in organizations, from less defects, better health care outcomes, and improved effectiveness; to more satisfied and engaged customers, patients, and students; to improved financial and market share results. The goal is to evaluate the whole organization and look at ways to improve in leadership, strategy, customer satisfaction, workforce, operations, measurement and analyze data.
We also are continuing our work on Quality Programs that help increase better outcomes for our residents. We are in the process of a QIIP (Quality Initiative Incentive Program) and a PIPP (Performance Improvement Payment Plan). The QIIP project is focusing on decreasing falls and the PIPP program is focusing on incontinence.
The staff at Oak Hills believes that we must continually be learning in order to ensure that we are offering the residents of Oak Hills the very best.
