We continue to follow CDC and MDH guidance regarding COVID-19 protocols. While COVID-19 continues to be a part of our day to day, quality programs remain a priority. These programs, funded by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, use data driven outcomes measures to show how our individual centered approaches improve the behavioral and mental health of our residents. We are excited to share the first renderings of our upcoming expansion and assisted living renovation, which will include a Chapel. Renovating our existing 16 unit assisted living will offer 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom and studio options. Expanding will offer 15 memory care and 15 enhanced assisted living units.
Oak Hills Memorial Foundation Oak Hills Memorial Foundation is excited to welcome Wendy Lang, Fund Development Director. Activities continues to be a fluid place where we adapt to programs depending on what size of group we can get together, and if we can have volunteers. For November, we will be honoring our Veterans on Veteran’s day, and doing some Thanksgiving programs. We are hoping to bring back our entertainers soon as we do miss them! Contact Rachal Becker at 507-233-0819 for questions on volunteers and activities.
Gutes Essen has been busy planning winter menus and catering! Our resident menus are all written by our Registered Dietitian. Residents provide feedback and input on the menus.
Did you know we’ve catered 21 weddings this year so far with 4 more to go? We also provide meals for 3 daycare centers, Brown County Detox and of course freezer meals. Supply delays will impact freezer meals in November. Check for updates on our website. Our dedicated Team celebrated food service week this month.
